Torvalds says OS development will by driven by people, not markets

NEWS Linux creator Linus Torvalds has stated that, in the future, technology will be driven by users' needs and not by the market. Speaking at Comdex in Las Vegas, Torvalds told attendees that the future of the operating system would progress in line with user needs and not with the curiosity of programmers.
