Novartis call centre to stockpile resources for UK farmers

NEWS Swiss farming chemicals company, Novartis, has set up a call centre to keep records of UK's farmers, their seasonal work patterns and product requirements. The company has installed customer relationship management (CRM) software from Tenuteq in a contract worth £180,000. Novartis will equip the centre with 70 agents dealing with sales, technical and general enquiries. A spokesman said agents will be able develop a tailor-made service for each farmer and be able to call at times most convenient for them.
