Goodyear supported by Eureka software

NEWS Tire and rubber company, Goodyear, has installed business intelligence software from ecommerce company, Sterling Commerce, which will allow them to improve operations through improved analysis techniques. The Eureka:Portal and Eureka:Reporter software will be added to the Eureka:Suite system already put in place at the manufacturer by Sterling. Eureka:Portal is a software platform that supports other business intelligence applications in the Eureka:Suite system. Eureka:Reporter is a querying tool used to access data stored in warehouses. Vince DeLuca, Goodyear's business intelligence manager, said the software is helping to improve the company's relationships with customers and has given the company an overall strategic advantage.
