NEWS Informix has released a Java database called Cloudscape 3.0, which is designed to handle Web-based applications like CRM and Internet banking. The database is the first product to be released by Cloudscape since the company was acquired by Informix in October. Informix sees it as the next step in building the company's Java strategy. Cloudscape 3.0 will be available from the middle of this month.
