Baan shares rise on back of post-millennium orders

NEWS Shares in Baan rose almost seven per cent yesterday on reports that SAP is expecting an increase in orders early in 2000 once business has recovered from its millennium hangover. SAP shares have been on the up for the last two weeks on predictions that the new year will see a jump in orders. In September, Baan claimed to be working on six orders worth $10m each.
