NEWS Baan has announced an Internet-based product that enables companies to share financial information across the extended enterprise. Baan CODA E-Finance can, for example, allow users to access accounts information using PDAs or Web browsers. The product links to customers, partners and suppliers. The Dutch enterprise software company bought UK-based CODA in May last year. Existing users of the Baan CODA E-Financials range include easyJET, IKEA and Virgin. Baan CODA E-Finance will be available during the first quarter of next year.
