Ammanford call centre ahead of schedule

NEWS Carmarthenshire Council this week stated its £1.5m call centre in Ammanford, Wales, will be finished at least six months ahead of schedule. Head of community development, Roger Fidler, told local media that the council is still negotiating with building contractors, but the two-storey call centre will be open by July, creating around 250 jobs. The 1,550 square metre facility is expected to house call handling services for a financial or service sector client.
