NEWS Relativity Technologies and NIIT have signed an agreement to offer consultancy and software to companies looking to Internet-enable legacy applications. Relativity will provide its RescueWare ebusiness product for migrating legacy applications. While NIIT's offshore software development facilities will be used to re-encode the lines of code necessary to Internet enable applications. IDC estimates that nearly 200 billion lines of COBOL code are currently in production for commercial data processing systems.
