NEWS Video rental chain Blockbuster has signed a deal with Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer to make the studio's films available over the Internet in the future. Both companies said they will investigate digital streaming, downloading and other potential home delivery technologies. The deal is non-exclusive - both companies can look at other partners - and covers MGM's library of old films as well as new releases. The two companies will share any revenue made by the agreement.
