NEWS Online book giant, Amazon.com has signed a deal with drugstore.com to provide visitors to its site the chance to buy pharmacy products. Amazon now sells books, electronics, music and toys, as well as running auctions in conjunction with Sotheby's. However, the deal with drugstore.com is the first time Amazon has given space on its Web site to another company. The three-month alliance coupled with a $30m investment increases Amazon's stake in drugstore.com to 28 per cent.
