NEWS US Groupware vendor, Instinctive Technology, has launched in the European market. The Massachusetts-based company produces eRoom - an online project collaboration package. The software creates a virtual project space where team members can hold discussions, comment on documents and drafts, and hold all information related to a particular project. Jeffrey Beir ,CEO of Instinctive, said that along with the groupware giants such as Lotus, Instinctive's biggest competitors are companies which try to produce similar Web sites themselves. "A lot of the benefit is speed," Beir said. "If you have the time and money, you can build a Web site yourself. But customers say that by the time they've done that, they're halfway through the project." eRoom is currently available only in English, but will be expanded into French, German, Italian and Spanish. "There's a new version of eRoom planned to come out early this summer," Beir said. "That's the one we'll localise."
