Mitsui and Texas Instruments join Radicchio coterie

NEWS Wireless ecommerce security forum, Radicchio, will today announce that another eight members - including Japanese giant Mitsui and semiconductor specialist, Texas Instruments - have joined its growing number of supporters. A spokesman for founding member Sonera SmartTrust, said in a statement: "The new members illustrate industry's demand for common PKI standards that make transactions over a mobile device more secure." The other joining companies are mobile security firm Diversinet, payment provider, Giesecke & Devrient, mobile ISP, Redknee.com, PKI specialists, Schlumberger and TC Trustcenter, and secure payment firm, Thryon. The announcement will be made at the GSM World Congress in Cannes, France. See also:
