NEWS BT has announced the latest addition to its suite of services offered through its ASP (application service provider) collaboration with ERP vendor, SAP. The ASP project - called BT BusinessManager service - offers business applications based on SAP's ERP software over a secure server network hosted by BT. The latest addition is a human resources (HR) application developed by SAP. As the ASP model of hiring applications is considered particularly relevant for the small business sector, the service is specifically targeted at SMEs unable to afford the application. BT claims the service could knock 30 per cent of costs of HR management.
