NEWS Compaq has chosen software provider, Interwoven, to manage content on the company's worldwide intranet, Compaq Inline, which provides news and information to the company's 70,000 employees. Interwoven's TeamSite software will enable around 2,500 Compaq staff to add, change and manage content on the network. Bobby Arnold, director of e-programs and operations at Compaq, said Interwoven's software will let the company standardise its content management efforts across all global business units. It will also boost Compaq's competitiveness by helping the company respond to customers in real time, he added.
