Eighty per cent of business reliant on paper-based data

NEWS Nearly 80 per cent of UK employees are still ignoring IT-based administration systems in favour of paper, according to research from document company, Xerox. The survey involved interviews with 500 employees drawn from a wide range of companies. Tracy Mudge, director and general manager of Xerox's office systems group, said encouraging the use of IT knowledge systems doesn't necessarily mean a paperless office, but rather a compromise which can give companies access to information they may not be aware of.
