NEWS Lawson Software announced a raft of contracts at its user conference in San Diego today, as well as plans to focus on Web-based applications. The ERP vendor has signed up Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association-College Retirement Equities Fund (TIAA-CREF), which manages assets worth $288bn, and Boeing Employees' Credit Union. The company also has plans to offer a Web-based interface for its software, allowing its ERP packages to be hosted on an ASP model by third parties.
