NEWS Factory automation specialist, Brooks Automation, and pharmaceutical consultancy, K W Tunnell have formed a partnership to provide pharmaceutical companies with a specialised service to streamline their IT systems. The two companies will co-develop Brooks' Starfire groupware product to target companies trying to tackle core issues, including change management and process failures. Robert Hill, president of K W Tunnell, said process failure - a key problem in the manufacturing and pharmaceutical industries - can be avoided more often if companies follow a structured IT system development path. He added that the service will make it easier for that to happen.
