By Tony Hallett, 5 April 2000 18:03

NEWS NetCall has developed software that it claims can put an end to long waits in call centre queues. The company is offering a solution to call centre operators that will ring back customers rather than make them wait in a queue. It said the approach may put an end to so-called 'phone rage', and follows research by Mintel which shows call queues and hold music are hated by 60 and 36 per cent of users respectively.
