e-trading to guide small companies onto the Net

NEWS A consultancy launching today is to specifically target small companies trying to establish an online presence. The firm, 'e-trading-company' claims it can supply technology and consultation to help companies get online quickly and cheaply. Chris Carroll, CEO of e-trading company, said: "These companies are finding it incredibly hard to get good technical support and advice, so we will take that hassle away from them." The company will supply services covering the initial Web site implementation through to more complex, tailored ecommerce systems. e-trading-company intends to expand to Europe and Singapore within nine months and claims to have had interest from some of the UK's top 300 small companies. The site also has backing from Sir Michael Bett, former MD of BT.
