NEWS UK artificial intelligence expert, Autonomy, has moved into the black for the first time. The software supplier today announced profits of $346,000 for the quarter, as compared with losses of $921,000 this time last year. Autonomy is striding forward with a listing on Nasdaq, finalised two weeks ago, and new customers including General Motors, Nationwide Building Society and Royal & SunAlliance. The $101m raised from stock exchange listings will be spent on acquisitions into new countries and technology markets.
