NEWS US-based software vendor FastLane is providing Shell with its directory management suite. The FastLane/DM application operates in conjunction with a Windows 2000 server and active directory. According to a company spokesperson Shell is planning to standardise its office operating environment. Shell currently has 60,000 end users across 180 countries. The value of the deal has not been disclosed.
