NEWS UK start-up Virtucom Technologies is working with computing giant IBM to develop a secure method of file transfer on the Internet. The first pilot project between the two companies will be the development of VirtuFolders, allowing users to 'drag and drop' files via a browser to any desktop in the world. Virtucom claims the process is secured by 40-bit encryption, username and password protection.
