NEWS Harrods has made public its concerns over credit card operator GE Capital's decision to move operations to Delhi. GE Capital is contracted to support the luxury department store's credit card facilities via a call centre based in Leeds. In a statement the company said it's not happy about the plans as "Harrods places customer care as its highest priority". It also claimed to be concerned about the "loss of any jobs in Britain as a result of this plan". GE Capital also provides credit card call centre facilities for retailers Arcadia and Debenhams.
