IBM and Red Hat seal joint marketing deal

NEWS IBM is to port versions of all its software to Linux under a deal with Red Hat. The deal will see versions of IBM's DB2 databases, Tivoli management software, WebSphere middleware and Lotus' collaborative Domino software, all running on Linux. The collaboration will be targeted at software developers for ebusiness projects. Both IBM and Red Hat will jointly market and recruit channel partners for developed versions of both companies' products.
