Lloyds TSB does $24m e-CRM deal

NEWS Lloyds TSB has signed a $24m contract for electronic customer relationship management technology from Chordiant software. The technology will be deployed throughout the bank's offices and used to manage and consolidate all customer communications over its WAP, digital TV, internet and call centre channels as well as through its branches. Igor Andronov, Lloyds TSB group IT director, said: "Technical staff only have to learn one set of tools and applications, so new business initiatives, such as the addition of a new channel or the integration of a new call centre to meet time-to-market and business objectives, are implemented quickly."
