NEWS Amazon.com is to open a French version of its online book, music and video store. The Amazon.fr domain name was registered more than 12 months ago and according to reports in French national newspaper Le Figaro, the online bookstore will go live at the end of August or early September. Amazon has reportedly signed partnerships with BOL France, Fnac and France Telecom. The company refused to comment.
