NEWS Commenting on the need to partner, Bill Lipsin, president and CEO of Ironside, told silicon.com: "Too many companies have tried to do too much and failed. We realise we can't do it all ourselves." Lipsin cited speed to market and the cost of developing best of breed technology inhouse as the main reasons for the agreement. Requisite's BugsEye finding engine technology and its eMerge toolset will power the eCatalog and eContentManager components of the Ironside Content Management Suite. Hosting its first annual user conference, Ironside said it will continue to focus on manufacturing and distribution in the food, chemicals and electronics industries. It has also partnered with the Intel/Visa joint venture TranSync for the transaction component of its software suite.
