Wanadoo buys Andtrade

France Telecom's ISP division Wanadoo has acquired online trading market Andtrade as the French telco continues to increase its presence on the internet.

NEWS AndTrade will join Wanadoo's directory division, Kompass France, to offer a b2b portal for SMEs looking for ecommerce products, advice on how to create a website and carrying out transactions over the internet. Kompass France currently enables users to access over 150,000 b2b companies in France as well as browse 50,000 products. In a statement, Wanadoo said the acquisition was a testimony to the company's ambitions to help users develop their own internet strategies.
