NEWS Since May 2000, all firms with revenues over E15.24m (£9.68m) have been obliged to file certain tax documents, including VAT declarations, electronically. The French Council of the Order of Chartered Accountants (Conseil Supérieur de l'Ordre des Experts-Comptables) has signed a five-year deal with ASP-One Europe, to provide a single system for transferring data from accountants to the authorities. The system will date and process information, issue time-stamped receipts, and send the information to relevant tax office.
