NEWS The company expects to ship Verastream 8.0 and Verastream Host Integrator 4.0 in March. Verastream is a combination of visual-development tools, database and application adapters for many databases and applications as well as an adaptable integration engine. New functions in version 8.0 will provide tighter integration with Baan and Siebel System applications by way of adapters for Siebel customer relationship management software and Baan enterprise software. Improved Web integration, using tools based on Java and XML and additional systems-management capabilities, including Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) support, will also be included. WRQ said an adapter for PeopleSoft will be available later this year.
