NEWS Conde Nast claimed in a statement that the move was due to: "A strategy of targeting content at a growing number of PC and PDA users looking for timely and convenient access to content." Apparently iXGuardian was chosen due to its pending ability to handle video streaming content, as well as its resilience, load-balancing and security technology. The company has built in 'n+n' resilience, rather than other companies' 'n+1', which essentially means that customers each have a contingency facility in case of hardware failure, the company claims. The managed hosting company is based in a 130,000sq ft facility near Heathrow, London.
