NEWS From the minute the Party launched its 44-page manifesto, Ambitions for Britain, yesterday, the site at http://www.labour.org.uk began to struggle and then failed to usefully respond for the next four hours. According to performance monitoring company Keynote, the Labour site has averaged a response time of over 14 seconds for the last week, compared to just 2.6 seconds for the Conservatives. Evidence of superior technology, the Tories would no doubt argue. But it's surprising how fast you move without any traffic on your back.
