NEWS Application software provider Citrix Systems has won a contract to supply business information, including intranet and email services, to 92 of Virgin's Megastores in the UK. Staff at the entertainment retailer will be able to access up-to-date information, such as sales and stock levels, via Citrix's MetaFrame servers, which aims to improve their decision-making. Last month Citrix reported better than expected earnings for its second quarter, with revenue of $147.3m, up almost 40 per cent from $106.1m for the same quarter last year.
