Commerce One shows CSO the door

This time they want a strategy that won't lose them billions of dollars...

NEWS Commerce One has ousted its chief strategy officer after reporting a $2bn loss in the last quarter. Chuck Donchess will be replaced by Alexis de Raadt-St. James, a former academic at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. The new CSO will be responsible for guiding the company's long-term market and product strategy and will report directly to CEO Mark Hoffman. Until this announcement Commerce One had avoided major management reshuffles unlike competitor Ariba, which recently re-instated CEO Keith Krach just six months after giving him his marching orders.
