Ross Perot gets a job with Burger King

Sounds like a comedown for a former Presidential candidate...

NEWS EDS-founder Ross Perot's eponymous venture Perot Systems has won a deal to run all of Burger King's IT systems. The Texas-based firm has been awarded the contract as Burger King begins the process of becoming an independent firm. It is to be spun off from its parent company, drinks conglomerate Diageo. Neither firms were prepared to disclose the value of the deal or how many staff will be involved, but Perot Systems revealed it will move Burger King's data centre operations to Perot's Texas technology centre. The switchover is expected to be complete by the end of the year.
