NEWS Microsoft has cancelled a SQL server conference scheduled for next week in the light of the US terror attacks. The conference, a joint venture between Microsoft and Pass - the Professional Association for SQL Server - was due to run from Wednesday through to Saturday in Orlando, Florida next week. Microsoft and Pass said they had taken the decision to cancel the event because of the effect the attacks have had on the whole industry, and because of concerns over restricted travel. Microsoft gave no indication of how long the event would be postponed for.
