NEWS HP and i2 have inked a deal to create private marketplaces for their customers and trading partners. Through the marketplaces the vendors will be able to collaborate with their suppliers to improve supply chain processes and reduce inventory costs. i2's supply chain collaboration and Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) software will be run on HP's infrastructure. The deal follows HP's decision to use i2 software for its own private marketplace.
