NEWS Lucent is hoping to cut costs and improve company communication by implementing software from struggling B2B software firm Ariba. Using Ariba's Buyer software to power its 'EZBuy' scheme, Lucent hopes employees will be able to procure goods and services in an easier and more efficient way. KPMG Consulting and procurement specialist Alliente will be implementing the solution.
