Adobe abandons Indian jobs raid

Changed its mind...

NEWS Graphics software company Adobe has abandoned plans to hire 300 Indian developers because of the slowdown in business in the US and Japan. Adobe's Indian chief said the business environment had changed dramatically since the expansion had been announced in January of this year. Adobe had planned to spend $10m on a 300-man data centre to house the engineers, to be completed by June 2002.
