NEWS UK voice processing software maker, Vocalis has appointed a new CEO today. Chief Operating Officer, Paul Write will take up the post, which he has been care-taking since the previous chief Charles Halles departed in June 2001 after rumours that the company was running out of cash. Write comes in on a wave of optimism, as the company also announced an investment of almost £400,000 in new shares by technology investor, Herald Investment Trust. Vocalis shares rose four per cent on the news.
