NEWS Oracle has unveiled a database application that allows users to monitor daily business trends in real time, the latest feature to be added to its 11i package. Named the 'Daily business close', the database draws information from across all 11i applications, providing users with up-to-date information on their company's business performance. Users can access information, such as lead and sales positions, inventory levels, headcount, revenue and expenses, through a personalised portal.
