Oracle takes the wraps off 11i prices

And the good news is...

NEWS Oracle has unveiled the new pricing structure for its 11i application suite after its old pricing policy was abandoned for being too complex. Professional users will pay a $4,000 licence fee per user for the entire application suite, while casual users will pay $400 per user. Oracle abandoned its old prices last year, after customers and analysts claimed they could not understand the complicated pricing structure.
