NEWS Former business partners SAP and Commerce One have both announced new alliances with Compaq. The SAP deal will see it team with Compaq to market SAP enterprise portal software running on Compaq hardware. The two companies already partner on storage and server installations, and Compaq provides the infrastructure technology for mysap deployments. Commerce One will work with Compaq to deliver its e-procurement software on Compaq's ProLiant servers to the SME market. The joint offering, Procurement Express, include the software, hardware, services and content required to get SMEs trading online.
