BT Ignite rejigs IBM ASP deal

Lotus eaters switched to pay per use model&

NEWS BT Ignite has changed the terms of its deal with IBM for ASP users of its Lotus communication software. BT Ignite will now buy an individual licence for each new ASP user of Lotus applications such as Notes and Domino, rather than paying for them up front. This will better suit the way in which ASP applications are currently being sold - companies are much happier to buy a small trial service and scale up rather than committing to replacing all their systems with a complete ASP service in one go.
