NEWS Mercator has signed a deal with the Port of Rotterdam for the integration work on the harbour's web-based hub. Mercator will use EDI and eventually XML technologies to link the web front-end with back-end systems. The hub, known as WebJonas, allows shipping agents to register their boats with the port from anywhere around the world.
