'I'll be back,' says knackered hacker tracker

Alldas down but not out...

NEWS Internet defacement archive Alldas.de is to disappear for over a month as founder Stefan Wagner takes a rest. Alldas recorded each example of so-called "internet graffiti", where hackers would take over an internet server and post their own pages instead of the site that was meant to be there. Fellow defacement archives Attrition.org and Safemode.org both have closed their doors in the past year. Wagner is to take two months off to deal with "total burnout and frustration", according to US wires. The site will resurface with a new domain, Alldas.org, in the first week of March, and Wagner hopes to have two new staff members and volunteer help. Alldas.de has often attracted the ire of both the hackers and the hacked - victims often blamed Alldas.de for the hacking, or for encouraging the real culprits by giving them publicity. Alldas.de was also the victim of multiple hack attacks itself.
