NEWS Autonomy has followed-up its Hutchison 3G contract announced last week with a deal with the new Channel 4 'supersite'. The TV channel recently re-launched its http://www.channel4.com site to incorporate all its online information. Autonomy now has the task of aggregating and automating information from various areas including news, sports and films. Autonomy will create hypertext links between the disparate articles. Channel Four also believes it will be able to give visitors a "richer experience" using Autonomy's technology to allow them to use natural language on the site. The overall aim is to make the site easier to navigate without any additional manual work.
