Friends reunited are getting married

NEWS Two couples reacquainted through the FriendsReunited website have announced they are to wed. The site, which has been dogged by less positive news in recent months, has announced the forthcoming nuptials, claiming they are the first couples to wed after meeting through the service. One happy pair, Sheila O'Brien and Dave Trill, represent not only a victory of sorts for the site, but also bear testimony to the virtues of persistence. Dave was first turned down by Sheila when asking her out on a date at school - but 28 years later he finally got his girl.
