Siebel takes itself in hand

Handheld users get the key to CRM...

NEWS CRM software giant Siebel is adding the world of handheld devices to its mobile applications suite to attract field and sales workers. Siebel is releasing version 7.04 of its CRM suite at the end of March which will enable users of handheld devices that run on Palm operating systems and Windows CE to access its applications. The company is also adding RIM's Blackberry email device and the Palm 7 to its mobile stable. Currently, only laptop and retail-handheld users are able to pull customer information out of Siebel's applications.
