NEWS IBM has unveiled the latest developments in its Xperanto project which aims to fully integrate XML and web services with its DB2 database. IBM has posted a demo to illustrate how the new technology can be used by developers to build applications which benefit from joining web services-type connectivity to the popular IBM database. The Xperanto technology will use an IBM "standard" call XQuery to view and query many databases and other web services as if they were a single database.
